10 years ago Specialist Trading was formed with one goal in mind: to teach traders how to trade for themselves. Why? Because it's been estimated that upwards of 85% of ALL traders fail. Now this doesn't mean that most traders will eventually experience a series of losses or go into a trading slump. This literally means that 85% of ALL traders will lose everything, all of the hard-earned money they've set aside for trading.

I believe the main reason for such a high rate of failure is because most traders have been trained to take themselves out of the game. They believe they don't possess enough knowledge, skill or experience in order for one to compete in today's markets. Think of it, how do you make your own trading decisions? Do you go to a daily chat or trading room in order to see what everyone else is doing? Do you subscribe to a signal service or blog that automatically tells you what to buy or sell? Or perhaps you prefer to listen to the so-called trading gurus on TV since they must know what they're talking about. Regardless of how you choose to make your trading decisions, they're mainly based on someone or something else telling you what to do. I believe this is a recipe for failure because you've taken yourself out of the process by allowing others to do the work for you. This would be comparable to a brain surgeon, in the middle of an operation, asking someone how to proceed. Sounds silly, right? But traders do this each and every day.

The good news is that the search for reliable, fundamental trading knowledge is finally over. No longer will you have to rely on someone else telling you what to buy and sell.
